Cardgorgeair Liebeach is Sydney's premier offline poker venue, offering face-to-face poker at custom-built tables. Our card lounge hosts regular poker games and tournaments for discerning players, seven nights a week from 4:00 PM until 2:00 AM at 54 Commonwealth Street, Surry Hills.
Every table in our card lounge is built to a standard rarely seen in Australian poker venues. From the shape of the rail to the tension of the cloth, each detail is designed for serious play and long sessions.
Each table is handcrafted to seat ten players comfortably, with an oval shape that ensures every seat has a clear view of the action. Built for serious poker games with ample elbow room and a commanding presence, the oval design promotes face-to-face poker interaction among all participants.
Our tables feature Teflon-treated speed cloth in a rich Riviera green, providing a smooth, fast surface for professional card play. The cloth is durable and stain-resistant, maintaining its elegant appearance while the green hue reduces glare and enhances card visibility for real poker.
Luxurious padded armrests in white leatherette provide comfort during long poker sessions, while recessed brass fixtures add a touch of opulence. Armrests are ergonomically designed for hours of play, and brass fixtures are custom-machined and polished to a satin finish.
Our card lounge features open poker tables with accessible seating rotations, allowing players to join games as seats become available. We maintain a fair rotation system to ensure all serious poker players get table time, and walk-in poker opportunities are available most evenings, subject to table availability.
A serious poker room runs on clarity. Before you take a seat, familiarise yourself with the standards that keep every game fair, fast, and respectful.
In our poker room Sydney, verbal declarations are binding. Once you state your action, you are committed to it. This rule prevents angle shooting and maintains game integrity, so players should think carefully before speaking.
Chips pushed forward past the betting line are considered in play. Forward motion with chips or cards constitutes a commitment. This standard rule is enforced consistently, keeping the game moving and reducing disputes.
Players are responsible for protecting their cards at all times. Use a card protector or keep your hand on your cards. If your cards are mucked, they are dead, and we provide card protectors upon request.
All poker tournaments are governed by a published set of rules, with a dedicated tournament director to resolve disputes. Rules follow standard TDA guidelines with house modifications, and decisions are final and binding.
Join our regular poker tournaments, from nightly freezeouts to special high-roller events. Our card lounge transforms into a competitive arena for serious poker players, with structured blind levels and professional dealers.
